I have several posts for today. I took down my old blog and wanted to post some pics from it, hence, the many posts today. Please feel free to comment and let me know what you think about my photographs. I am currently processing Easter pics and recent session pics. They will be available soon. Have a good one.

I had a wonderful time photographing miss c****. I'm not quite sure who had more fun me or her. She wants to be a model, can't you tell?

This was a great session. Not only did I have this beautiful little girl and her parents, there were three dogs involved as well. Thanks S**** for letting me photograph your daughter. I had so much fun.

my portraiture style

I can’t begin to stress how important it is to choose the right photographer for you. Choose one that will take the photographs you want. Remember these photographs capture your family.

My greatest photography influence is Ansel Adams. Even though he was primarily a landscape photographer, capturing many of the nation’s landmarks and national parks, I am in total awe of his black-and-white photography and use of natural light. His photographs of the forest floor and the Teton Mountains and Snake River are breathtaking.

I specialize in candid photojournalistic images that are not forced or posed. My style of shooting is very relaxed and fun. I am an on-location / natural light photographer. This means that I utilize only natural light in photography, and therefore, all outside sessions are weather permitting. I go to your home or will meet you at a local setting of your choice. I want to capture your children or family as they are in a relaxed, unscripted manner, while striving to capture the honesty of real life. People are more comfortable when they are in the comforts of their home or outside. I want to capture each person’s personality to be remembered years from now. Whether it’s telling a love story or a connection between a family, I will create timeless and classic portraits that will show who you are to treasure for a lifetime.

I am primarily a black-and-white photographer, but will capture the vibrance of color. I carefully hand process each image to create rich tones and textures that will comprise my signature style.

If you are looking for traditional family pictures, with everyone saying cheese, I’m not the photographer for you.
